bringing flowers from your garden when you meet a friend for coffee

I met up with a friend for coffee yesterday and she arrives holding the sweetest bouquet wrapped in twine! Just an ordinary coffee meet up, no special occasion. I thought it was so sweet and classy. We must all be doing this, especially when it's the spring/summer season. PNW life is a bounty.
